Large, reasonably secure moduli generation takes a long time, especially on modest appliance hardware. To side-step the matter of generating moduli on the devices themselves, we designed and implemented MaaS.
MaaS builds and maintains a pool of modulis. Upon request, a moduli file is served to the client and deleted from the pool.
